Hope Floats

Sarah is celebrating her birthday this year as a Canadian government employee once again.

She is back with the Treasury Board as a Human Resources analyst, helping to specify and implement a new cloud-based digital HR system. She brings a unique skill set to her job – probably no other person in her department combines a Master of Science and a Master of Pastoral Studies degree.

Her technical background means she is not intimidated by IT concepts, and she has taken a deep dive into the desires of the human heart. If done well, HR is a combination of art and science, so Sarah will do her best for the folks who will use the new system.

Sarah has spent her life as an embodiment of hope – to her family, her friends, her schools, her profession. Her mother and I continue to be proud of her. We wish her another happy birthday and we hope to be around to see her celebrate many more. Happy birthday, my dear.
